Vol. 01 – Transcending

August 2023 at Mommsenstraße 43, Berlin

A: Gallery presented Transcending as its inaugural exhibition in August 2023 at Mommsenstraße 43, Berlin. The exhibition explored the crossing of boundaries—the creative process in which multiple memories and subjective experiences converged within a single composition, and the dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary artistic creation.

Within the scope of this exhibition, a compelling narrative unfolded, tracing these artists’ journeys through profound explorations of self-identity and personal storytelling. On a quest for self-discovery, they pushed artistic boundaries, leaving an indelible imprint on their surroundings.

A: Gallery was proud to present: Anna Hanchett, Arthur Laidlaw, Anna Zimmermann, Hank Grüner, Isis-Maria Niedecken, Jonathan Kemp, Jung A Lee, Lee Everett Thieler, Liat Greenberg, Tal Gilad, Tanja Neubert, Sachiko Schmidt, and Simon Skinner.
